Free is always nice, however when it comes to your email address don’t hold back.  When you are running your own business, it’s important to have a clean email address to give out.  So many people run around with a Hotmail, Gmail, Uniserve or other free accounts and wonder why people don’t take them seriously.   For example john@johnscontracting.com is more presentable then johnscontracting@hotmail.com .

Don’t let the concept convince you that it costs excessive amounts of money – it’s extremely easy and pretty cheap.  You can even keep your free email address and have it forward to your new domain address.
